Panic In Kaduna Over Earth Tremor

The city of Kwoi in Jaba local  Government Area of Kaduna State  over the week end was thrown into some sort of  confusion  following the earth tremor in the area.
Earth tremor  could be caused by an unequal compression or movement under the earth formation. This movement could interrupt the activities on the surface of the earth causing vibration and at times submerge of part of the surface. This could be as a result of Volcano activities or other forms of earth formation.

In view of this, the information  shows that as at  the time of this report the actual cause of the tremor is not known.

But Governor  of the State, Gov. Nasir El-Ruffai has sympathized with the affected  community. He has called on the Geological and Emergency Agency to investigate the cause of the Quake.

The incident that happened around 1;20 pm cause panic in the entire community NAN reported.
