DICKSON AIDE: POLICE ARRESTED TWO.

Police nab two suspects over kidnap of Dickson’s aide in Rivers
Two persons suspected to have been involved in the kidnap of Captain Henry Ungbuku, an aide to the Governor of Bayelsa State, have been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command.‬

Mr ‪Ungbuku, a Senior Special Adviser on Aviation to Governor Dickson, was abducted on Sunday morning, in front of the Redeemed Christian Church of GOD (Light House Parish), Iwofe, where he had attended a Church Service, in Rumuolumeni community in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of the State.‬
His abductors were said to have asked him to open the door of his vehicle while one of them pointed a gun at him.It was gathered that the suspects were arrested on Sunday evening, at the Elioparanwo area where the victim resides.‬
‪A source from Captain Ungbuku’s family disclosed that men of the Anti-Kidnap Unit (AKU) of the Rivers State Police Command swooped on the suspects at their hideout in an uncompleted building in the area.‬
Explaining the incident, a source said: “When family members of Captain Ungbuku were going to Church that morning, they saw three young boys lurking around their residence and one of them was making a call and looking at the victims car’s plate number. “In the evening, when Police operatives stormed the place, some boys were arrested”.
‪It was further gathered that the victim was abducted by three armed men who rode in a Toyota Camry car. The gunmen are yet to contact the victim’s family for any ransom.‬
‪A Police source, who claimed anonymity, said those arrested were interrogated.‬
