We informed you that the wife of the Central Bank Governor was kidnapped yesterday along Agbo-Benin Road.
The Latest development is that the actual number of people abducted at that instance was two women, one man and the driver. Making the total head count to five persons.
The Abductors Mrs Emefiele has since being in contact with the Central Bank Governor.
Source said the the four Police detail attached to Mrs. Emefiele could not withstand the fire force of the ammunition of the kidnapper. Therefore when they saw that they were not making a match with the kidnappers they ran for their lives.
Since the abduction, the kidnappers have been in contact with Mr. Emefiele demanding NGN 1.5 Billion as ransom
The negotiation is on going with the Police as the mediator
