WHY VICE CHANCELLORS WERE SACKED

On the 13th February, 2016. the Federal Government relieved Vice Chancellors  of 12 Universities in Nigeria. there has being controversy on how and why the affected VCs were sacked. Two days a go the students body NANS protected against the action of the Federal Government.

In a reaction, the Secretary-General, Committee of the Vice Chancellor .CVC in the person of Michael Faborode gave an explanation on why FG acted the way it does, saying, the affected Don would have completed their tenure on the 15 February, 2016.,
The affected schools are  Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State, Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, Federal University Kashere, Gombe State and Federal University Wakari, Taraba State.
Others are Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Federal University  Ndufe-Alike, Ebonyi State and Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Others are Federal University Gashua, Yobe State, Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State and Federal University, Kebbi..
