Pandemonium broke out
on Monday when a 26-years old herbalist Ekene Oluka allegedly shot and
killed a 13-year-old Obumuneme Oluka while testing his protecting charm on the
deceased
. The incident happened at Amagu Uwani, Mgboko Aku of Igbo-Etiti Local
Government Area of Enugu State. The herbalist tested his anti- bullet charm on
the deceased but the charm failed.
Vanguard reports that
the Herbalist at different time, successfully tested his charm on the
deceased which was said to
protection against bullet and cutlass.
It was learnt that Ekene Oluka covering
Obumuneme’s body with the charm fire a shot which went through his vital organs
and destroyed them leaving him unconscious.
Police Public relations Office, Mr. Amaraizu confirmed the
incident to newsmen. He added that the men of the force have activated manhunt
for the fleeing herbalist.
It was further gathered that the herbalist had earlier
tested that of the cutlass on the deceased it worked out. But that of the
bullet caused several injuries on the head of the deceased who was confirmed
dead in the hospital and his body deposited at Attah Memorial Hospital’s Mortuary, Aku
