RUSSIAN AIRLINE DEFEND CRASH

MOSCOW—The Russian airline whose passenger jet crashed in Egypt on Saturday with 224 people on board mounted a public defense Monday, dismissing technical or human error and adding to the confusion over the cause of the crash.
