MOTORIST LAMENT FUEL SCARCITY

The ongoing scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as fuel, has continued to generate reactions from angry Nigerians.
The situation has further compounded the chaotic traffic movement in and around Lagos metropolis, leading to long queues of vehicles in search of petrol.
INFORMATION ON Monday evening showed that the ever busy Lasu-Iba road witnessed long queues of vehicles waiting to get the commodity, On the Agege-Iyana Ipaja road, long queues of motorists dotted the over five fuel stations on the road, thus leading to heavy traffic jam.
Also in Ikotun, most of the filling station were under lock and keys as drivers were seen moving around with cans.
A driver who plies the Ikotu-Cele road lamented that he had not worked since last Tuesday due to the ugly development.
“As we speak, I’ve not worked since Tuesday. This fuel scarcity if becoming something else. I have my family to carter for. Honestly, I’m confused,” he lamented.
