"
I read with amusement the allegation that was made in saharareporters, the unofficial media wing of the Buhari administration, the SSS and the EFCC,, that I was given 1.7 billion naira cash by President Goodluck Jonathan. This is false. A few hours later they changed their story and said that I received 1.7 billion naira from the office of the former NSA, Colonel Sambo Dasuki. This is also false. I have never received one kobo from President Jonathan himself, Colonel Dasuki or any other member of President Jonathan's government.
I have not ever been in receipt of any public funds and neither was I the beneficiary of any payments in cash, transfer, cheque or otherwise from any government official during the tenure of President Jonathan.

As Director of Media and Publicity of the Jonathan/Sambo Campaign organisation, I received money on behalf of the Directorate of Media and Publicity which I headed from private individuals and companies during the election campaigns but these were not public funds but rather private contributions specifically for the Presidential and other campaigns."

One of the out standing achievement of Goodluck Jonathan is working for indivisible Nigeria. This singular action has endeared the former president to every fair minded person in the country even the world at large. Not many Nigerians will  sacrifice  his ambition for the unity of Nigeria against the prediction that Nigeria would break up in 2015. No wonder the African Sunday Times name his the International Man of the year. the honour well deserved

Just 24 hours after Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was named the international Man of the Year by African Sunday Time, the former Minister of Information called on Nigerian to appreciate this great man who has kept his word. MILITANT WANTED (GUESS WHO HE IS)

Image result for MILITANTMauritanian authorities have declared wanted an Islamist militant who escaped from prison where he was awaiting execution for his part in a plot to assassinate President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
A statement released on public television urged residents to provide information on the militant, but It did not say when or how he escaped.
He was arrested in 2011 over alleged links to three vehicles containing explosives heading for Mauritania’s coastal capital, Nouakchott.
One of the vehicles was said to have been targeting Abdel Aziz, who had ordered military strikes in Mali against jihadist bases in 2010 and 2011.
Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb claimed responsibility for the plot in a statement released on jihadist forums, according to the SITE Intelligence Group.
Islamist groups hijacked a Tuareg rebellion in early 2012 to seize Mali’s desert north. A French-led intervention displaced them a year later, but Islamist fighters stepped up attacks in 2015
Jihadists believed to have links with each other and other groups beyond West Africa have claimed various acts of violence in the region, including a November attack on a luxury hotel that killed about 20 people.
Abdel Aziz, who was elected in 2009 after seizing power in a coup that ended the tenure of the country’s first democratically elected president, was hospitalized in 2012. He said soldiers had accidentally shot him.

FATHER MBAKA'S PROPHECY MATTERS ARISING.

A few days ago, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka predicted that those involved in the $2.1 billion arms deal saga will make an attempt to assassinate President Muhammadu Buhari. Little perhaps did he know ripples that might cause in the polity of a  nation like Nigeria. There have been serials of event this singular prophesy has instigated. Beside the wave this is creating in Nigeria, it is most likely the Vatican might get involved. only time will tell.
The latest of this development is the agitation this has spark in the South-East. A group (BSEYM) has issue a threat to the continuous peaceful existence of this great country Nigeria.
However, a group, Buhari South-East Youth Movement, BSEYM, has threatened to shut down the country if anything happens to Buhari.
The group categorically stated that such attempt would automatically spell doom for the country.
In a statement in Umuahia, Abia State it was gathered that , Mr. Nwabueze Onwuneme, the leader of the  the group insisted that anyone with any knowledge of any plot against the President or the country to immediately divulge such to law enforcement agents.
The group urged well meaning Nigerians to resist “this small group that wants to kill this country,” and support President Buhari in his effort to sanitize the country.

HAVE YOU APPLIED FOR THIS JOB GET DETAIL

Image result for CHRIS NGIGIThe Ministry of Labour and Productivity under Dr. Chris Ngige has debunked rumours making the rounds that it had been directed by the Federal Government to recruit thousands of unemployed youths and described the recruitment notice being circulated as a “scam”.
In the messages that had been circulated on Monday, job seekers were directed to approach any Federal Secretariat in their state to submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV) in expectation of potential employment.
The notice also gave the deadline for submission of applications as January 7th.
But in a statement signed by the Deputy Director (Press), Samuel Olowookere, the ministry denied that the recruitment notice originated from them and warned unsuspecting members of the public against falling victim of the antics of fraudsters who were using the ministry’s name to deceive the public.

PROSTITUTES ATTACKED CUSTOMERS IN ASABA DELTA STATE

Image result for PROSTITUTES ATTACKED CUSTOMERIn the  business world  ‘customers  are always right they  say’  but the reverse is the case in cable point base in Asaba Delta state.
There is a report that on Saturday there was a confusion in Cable Point Base in Asaba  when prostitutes went haywire  attacked  their customers over poor pay.
One will wonder what the cost of booking a hotel room for a night  and have all the peace   is compare to bargaining with a  prostitutes for N8,000.00  for a night sex without a guarantee of having at least  8 rounds of satisfactory sex which could equate a round for 1,000.00. this could possibly make more sense.Image result for PROSTITUTES ATTACKED CUSTOMER
Sincerely speaking all the trouble a man goes through to satisfy his sexual desire for N8000.00 seems enormous. Beside the lost of strength  and …, invariably  you have indirectly broken bond of affection with your children even the unborn. Studies show that men 70% of men that patronized prostitutes lose fatherhood affection for their children due to distraction from women outside.
The situation in Delta  state is  one  of the numerous cases that happen in Nigeria in recent times. One start to wonder is prostitution a legal trade? Those that harbor them do they have license?
It was learnt that the prostitutes had increase their tariff from N5,000.00 to N8,000.00. a night. Which agency modulates their tariff?  And how much tax are they paying to the Government?
According to Nigerian dailies, trouble stated when a victim went into satisfy his sexual desire  but could not part with bargained  N 8,000.00 claiming he did not know of the increase in charges
Quoting  one of the news paper  “ investigation reveals that the victim were beaten before policemen from  A-Division  came to their recuse” . The police recuse victim of prostitution from prostitutes .
The report quote the A- Division as saying “ we move into the brothel  with our men when we heard the shouting match between  the commercial sex workers and their customer and on interrogation we discover  the customer refused to pay their bill and the matter was resolved amicably.
This sounds legal and legitimate. As a matter of fact, whatever goes against the law should be treated such.

WOMEN JAILED FOR INDECENT DRESSES

Two Moroccan women who walked through a market wearing dresses are facing charges of “gross indecency”, a rights group and media reported Thursday, sparking an outcry in the kingdom. The women were arrested on June 16 as they strolled through the open-air market in Inezgane, a suburb of the southern city of Agadir, on their way to work, said Fouzia Assouli, head of women’s rights organisation LDDF.
The women — hairdressers aged 23 and 29 — were surrounded by merchants who accused them of wearing flimsy and “immoral” clothes, the Media 24 news website reported.
Security forces intervened, wresting the women away from the angry crowd and placing them inside a police car before driving them to a police station where they were charged with gross indecency, it added.
Assouli told newsmen that a trial date has been set for July 6. Rights organisations have denounced the upcoming trial and protests are to be held later this week in Agadir and in Morocco’s commercial capital Casablanca in support of the two women. “They were dressed in a very respectable fashion,” said Bouchra Chetouani, a member of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH).
In the police report, the women were said to have been wearing clothes that were “too tight”. Article 483 of Morocco’s penal code states that anyone found guilty of committing an act of “public obscenity” such as “gross indecency” can be jailed for between a month and two years.
Supporters of the two women have launched a petition online dubbed “Wearing a dress is not a crime”. It had been signed by more than 8,000 supporters as of Thursday afternoon. “This is an unprecedented case for our region,” said Aziz Sellami, the AMDH representative in Agadir, one of Morocco’s top tourist destination which is famous for its white sandy beaches.
Assouli said the arrests of the women comes amid growing calls for “morality” to be respected in conservative Morocco, which has been frequently criticised by international groups for rights abuses. Earlier this month, pop star Jennifer Lopez sparked anger among conservatives in Morocco — and triggered much debate — for being, according to media, “scantily” dressed during a concert in Rabat that was broadcast on public television.

FIRE RAZED YOLA MARKET

Yola—An early morning inferno yesterday  razed down the 80-year-ago Yola market destroying properties worth billions of Naira with the state commissioner of police announcing arrest of some looters .
The cause of the fire which reportedly started at about 2:30 am went out of control as initial efforts to put it off were hampered by lack of access roads.
An eyewitness disclosed that the fire might have consumed about 90 percent of shops with many shop owners broken down in tears as a result of the losses suffered in the fire incident.
A shop owner, Mallam Babayola Maijimilla whose shop was also razed down said “the fire started around the middle of the market, efforts by early sympathizers to put it out were rebuffed by security operatives who denied them access into the market for fear of looting.
According to him, the situation did not get better even upon the arrival of fire fighters who found it difficult to gain access to the point of the inferno as the market did not have access roads.
Chairman, Adamawa Traders Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammad, appealed to the federal, as well as state and local governments to come to their aid, saying that they lost 90 per cent of their shops to the inferno.
Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Martins Babale, who was among the early callers at the market said the government will assess the extent of damage with a view to knowing the level of intervention.
Babale called on NEMA, corporate organizations and wealthy individuals to come to the aid of the marketers.
Similarly, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Kabir Mijinyawa, in whose constituency the market is situated called on the traders to be patient as the government assesses the level of damage on the market.
He urged them to see the incident as an act of God even as he promised to do everything in his capacity to ensure that the marketers get succour from the government.
Commenting on the incident, the state Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Mr Sa’ad Abubakar, said the fire started around 3 am and that no life was lost.
He said fire fighters from the state fire service, Nigerian Army, Air force, and American University of Nigeria intervened to contain the inferno.
Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Gazali Mohammed, has confirmed the arrest of “some looters” at Yola ancient market gutted by fire.
Mohammed who did not give the number of those arrested said adequate security measures had been provided at the scene to check activities of looters.

FACEBOOK CEO APPLAUD COMMENT ON DEVICE

When his weeks-old daughter Max is old enough to understand it, Mark Zuckerberg will have some stellar advice for her. After one of his fans mentioned that she'd like her granddaughters to date nerds who could potentially become successful tech entrepreneurs, Zuckerberg responded that it'd be even better to be the nerd. Hell yes.

As Mashable  the Facebook cofounder and CEO has had ample time during his paternity leave caring for Max to do what so many of us do with a few free moments: post photos and comments to Facebook. In a status update yesterday, Zuckerberg shared his personal challenge for 2016, to "build a simple AI to run my home and help me with my work. You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man." Ambitious, but we have a feeling he can pull it off.

One admiring grandmother, Darlene Hackemer Loretto, responded with the comment "I keep telling my granddaughters to date the nerd in school, he may turn out to be a Mark Zuckerberg! Thanks for FB, I've reconnected with family and many old friends and classmates" — a well-intentioned message, but one that Zuckerberg quickly (though sweetly) shut down.

"Even better would be to encourage them to *be* the nerd in their school so they can be the next successful inventor!" Zuckerberg replied, to the tune of 23,000 likes. Boom. You don't have to date the nerd; you can be the nerd you wish to see in the world. (Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan, a pediatrician who is fluent in three languages, certainly seems to have heeded that advice.)

"I do encourage them [my granddaughters] to do well," Loretto clarified on her own Facebook page afterward. "I said it once to them in jest and NEVER did I think anyone would even see this, let alone get the attention it has gotten." When Zuckerberg chooses to respond to your FB post, though, you can be sure you'll get noticed.

“Efforts put up by the manager and some security men manning the filling station could not stop the fire, which later spread to the vehicle.
The fire could have been controlled if fire fighters were around early.”
Two adjoining residential buildings were partially burnt, while roadside retail traders who displayed their goods were also affected.
The Sole Administrator of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, and a member of the state House of Assembly, Amala Anazodo, were among the early callers at the scene.
