This is what you should be expecting

The federal Government of Nigeria said it is planning a housing scheme  program that will create (300.000) Three Hundred Thousand housing units to her citizens at affordable price.

Under the proposed scheme the Federal  Government is planning a mortgage system that will speed up the mortgage market in Nigeria. This will be characterized with the provision of mortgage loan  at a single digit  interest with repayment running for a long period of up to 20 years
This is the interior start to dream

The government of Nigeria made this known through her Minister for Finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun,  at the Annual Conference and  General Meeting of the African Union for Housing and Finance (AUHF)

This scheme is expected to create 700,000 new job that will cut across various professions and discipline  as well as delivery additional 300,000 housing unit to the people of Nigeria.

The Minister noted that there the country's housing deficit at the prt\esent stand at 17 million  stated that the government is committed to  deducing it to minimum.

Considering Housing market on Africa one may be forced to say it is underdeveloped. In Nigeria in particular, the Housing market contribute less than 1% of the country's GDP  while this is not the case in other developed country where  the Housing Market contribute up to 80% of their GDP.
