8 YEARS-OLD AMONG TEACHERS IN BAUCHI STATE.

A committee setup by Bauchi State Government said it has discovered names of eight -year old children as "teachers' on the payroll of the Government .

This was made known by state Accountant General who is also the member of the committee. Alhaji Abubaka Gabi, in Bauchi on Monday when granting  interview to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)

Other discovery includes same names, same BVN, same GSM numbers, same account numbers with difference photography on payment papers of some pensioners.
He said " Again we discover instance where deceased families who had earlier submitted death certificate of their head and were paid bulk pension entitlement , fraudulently working their way back and are  still collecting pension.

He said 4500 out of 33000 are ghost workers. he alo added that 7.300 local Government workers out of 27,000 handed over to the present administration by last government were ghost workers.
Other data he gave includes
73000 were ghost out of 29,000 teachers
